Established as a family business in Austria in 1961, EGGER now employs more than 11,000 employees. EGGER manufactures a wide variety of wood-based materials (chipboard, MDF boards, flooring and OSB) and timber and edge banding in 22 plants around the world. The EGGER Gebze edge banding production plant is the 17th plant within the EGGER Group.
At our Gebze plant, edgebands are produced as profiles or rolls. Various edge banding options with widths between 12–100 mm and thicknesses between 0.40–3.00 mm meet all the needs of the furniture industry. PVC, ABS and PMMA raw materials used in production also offer unlimited design possibilities ranging from solid colours to natural woodgrain decors, glass-like acrylic products and material reproductions.

Established in 1996, the Gebze edging factory became part of the EGGER Group in 2010 and has continued to operate as the Group's 17th plant ever since. The Gebze plant was the first edging factory to join the EGGER Group. Together with the Brilon plant, it is one of only two plants within the Group that produces edging.
As the world's largest edging manufacturer producing PVC, ABS, PMMA and aluminium edging under a single roof, we maintain our leading market position in Turkey by building on over 26 years of experience.
