Reactive Hot-Melt Adhesives
Compared to other adhesives, Reactive Hot-Melt is more sensitive to the ambient temperature. The ideal ambient temperature during application should be 20°C. Any downward or upward temperature changes would negatively affect the bonding performance of the adhesive. The following measures are recommended, to partially offset this effect;
→ Adding a blower fan at the start of the machine; The bonding performance could be improved by blowing hot air in winter time
→ Shelf life of Reactive Hot-Melt adhesives is approx. 9 months.
