Romabond Marine Adhesive / Transparent Marine Adhesive
ROMABOND Marine Adhesive is a single component polyurethane based adhesive for wood products. The ambient air and wood humidity assist the curing process. Easy to apply, has a low viscosity and strong bonding properties.
Water resistant (D4-DIN EN204 standard) and resistant to humidity as well as chemicals. Can be used on slightly humid surfaces and for filling purposes. Endures high and low temperatures.
Transparent Marine Adhesive, on top of the above properties is fast curing, transparent and has a lower press time.
- Pieces to be bonded must be properly cleaned and free from dust and grease.
- To ensure a better curing, one of the surfaces must be porous.
- Slightly moisten surfaces to be bonded for a stronger adhesion.
- Apply adhesive as a thin layer to one or both surfaces.
- Press parts together within 15 minutes. Pressing time depends on ambient air humidity, temperature and porosity of the materials to be bonded.
- Freshly applied adhesive can be removed with acetone.
- Do not use at temperatures below +5 °C.
